Your privacy is of great importance to Your Dog's Boutique. We therefore comply with the relevant laws and regulations on privacy, including the General Data Protection Regulation (further: AVG). This means that we:

• Clearly define our purposes, before we process your personal data, through this privacy notice;
• Storing as little personal data as possible and only the data necessary for our purposes;
• Explicitly asking permission for processing your personal data, should consent be required;
• Take necessary security measures to protect your personal data. We also impose these obligations on parties processing personal data for us;
• Respecting your rights, such as the right to inspect, correct or delete your personal data processed with us.

Your data is safe with us and we will always use it properly. In this privacy statement, we explain everything we do at the web shop Your Dog's Boutique with information we learn about you.

Contact form
The contact form allows you to ask us questions or make requests. We use your:

• Name and address details;
• E-mail address.

We do this based on your consent. We keep this information until we are sure you are satisfied with our response and for three months afterwards. This allows us to easily access the information in case of follow-up questions. It also allows us to train our customer service to become even better.

Your account
Certain parts of our web shop require you to register first. You must then provide information about yourself and choose a user name. We use that to create an account, which you can log into with that user name and a password of your choice.
For this, we use your:

• Date of birth;
• E-mail address;
• Name and address details;
• Phone number.

We do this based on your consent. We keep this information until you cancel your account. We save this information so that you do not have to fill it in again and again in the webshop and so that we can contact you more easily if necessary. You can change information in your account whenever you want.

Sending of newsletters
We have a newsletter and you will only be added to the list of subscribers with your permission. In the newsletter you will read news, tips and information about our products and services. We use your:

We do this based on your consent. We keep this information, until one month after you cancel the subscription.

The newsletter is sent by mail monthly. The contents of the newsletter include the following:

Statistics and profiling
We keep statistics on the use of our web shop. With these statistics, we improve our online shop to show only relevant information, for example. We may combine your personal data to find out more about you. Of course, we will respect your privacy at all times. If you do not want this, you can always inform us. We will use your:

Order processing
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to handle it properly. We may give your personal data to our delivery service to have the order delivered to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company. For this purpose we use your:

We need these because of the contract we enter into with you. We keep this information for up to two years after your order is completed. We keep certain customer data for longer in connection with legal tax retention obligations.

You can object to this advertising at any time. Each e-mail contains an unsubscribe link. You can block us or use the unsubscribe option. Through your account, you can also communicate this.

Sometimes it is necessary for our web shop Your Dog's Boutique to find out where you are. We then ask separately if we are allowed to know this and only if you then give your consent will we receive this information.

For this service, we use the navigation and location software on your phone, tablet or computer. We have no control over what the makers of this software (such as Google or Apple) do with it. Always read their privacy statements as well.

Advertisements
Our online shop displays general advertisements. In doing so, we do not keep any personal data, so we do not find out whether you like them.

Disclosure to other companies or institutions
With the exception of the parties required to provide the services mentioned above, we do not under any circumstances give your personal data to other companies or institutions, except if we are required to do so by law (e.g. if the police demand it in case of suspected crime).

Statistics
We keep statistics on the use of our online shop.

Our online shop includes social media buttons. With these, the operators of these services collect your personal data.

Cookies
Our webshop uses cookies. Cookies are small files where we can store information so that you don't have to fill it in every time. But they also allow us to see that you are visiting us again.

You can disable the placing of cookies via your browser, but some things of our web shop will then no longer work properly.

We have reached agreements with other companies that place cookies. Nevertheless, we do not have full control over what they themselves do with the cookies. So please also read their privacy statements. 

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our online shop. We have concluded a processing agreement with Google. This contains strict agreements on what they are allowed to track. We allow Google to use the information obtained via Google Analytics for other Google services. We have Google anonymise the IP addresses.

Security
Personal data security is very important to us. We ensure that your data is properly secured with us. We constantly update security and pay close attention to what can go wrong.

Data protection officer
We have appointed what is known as a data protection officer. This person is responsible for privacy within our organisation. Our data protection officer is called B. Deij and can be reached by e-mail at info@yourdogsboutique.com and by phone at for all your questions and requests.

Changes to this privacy statement
When our online shop changes, we naturally have to update the privacy statement as well. So always note the date above and check regularly for new versions. We will do our best to communicate changes to you.

• Insight into the exact personal data we hold;
• Getting errors corrected;

Please ensure that you always clearly indicate who you are, so that we can be sure we do not edit or delete data of the wrong person.

We will in principle comply with your request within one month. However, this period may be extended for reasons related to the specific rights of data subjects or the complexity of the request. If we extend this deadline, we will inform you in good time.
